The Under the Spotlight Class is coming up quickly. Details for the class follows.

STAMP SET - STIPPLED BLOSSOMS -  found on page 78 of the Annual Catalog, is Under the Spotlight for this class on Friday, January 22nd. The idea of the class is to choose a product and make several cards/projects allowing you to see the versatility of the chosen product. You will complete at least 3 cards/projects and a carrier using this set.

Cost of the class includes the purchase of the cling or wood mounted stamp, plus, a 15% discount off the stamp set!
$35.00 cling / $43.00 wood (sorry, no special discounts for team members)
If you already own the set, a set of your choice (same cost) will be ordered in it's place. Email your selection to me.

Return of the Big Shot Class, YEAH!!!!! This class has been on hiatis for awhile, but now it's back!!
Create 3-4 projects using the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. Bring your Big Shot or Big Kick to class, if you have one. Still come if you don't have one!
Cost:
1. Flat fee $25, team members: $20
2. Place a $20 subtotal order, plus a $10 fee
3. Place a $40 subtotal order, plus a $5 fee
4. Place a $50 subtotal order, class is FREE!

Class Review

Before I review the September Classes, there is still room for 2 more in the Under the Spotlight Class for tomorrow night at 7pm. Remember, the cost of the class includes the stamp set at a 15% discount.  The stamp set for this class is "For the Birds". You can see the set on page 34 of the catalog. Cost of the class is $36.00 cling or $43.00 wood.

First up is the Elegant Bird Mini Album on Saturday, September 1st. In this class we will make the most unique mini book using the Big Shot Elegant Bird die. If you have the following items, please bring to class:

Halloween Cards and Treats Class is promising to be fun. You can win a prize if you come in costume! If you would like....take this class as "together time" with your child age 10 and above. This cute little treat basket is one of the projects for class. It was designed by Angie Juda. It uses a toilet paper roll as the basket!! If you came to my Open House, we made them then.

Hi,

I have been gone all week!! So sorry. Well to make it up, I'm going to share a project for each day of the week!! That's 5 projects today!!!!!

But first, a couple of reminders - Still openings for my Stamp-a-Stack and Spotlight class tomorrow and next Friday, respectively. I cut a couple of extra kits for the Stamp-a-Stack and will order the stamps for the Spotlight class on Monday. Let me know if you want to attend.  And don't forget Big Shot this Sunday! All details can be found on my calendar over there on the right side bar!!

Now for the sharing......
The first card is one I received at my upline swap this month. It's by Marie Leyva. It is just beautiful in person. Look out hostess clubs, you will see this one in class...with a slight change of course...you know I can't leave well enough alone!!

This next card is also one I received as a swap from the same upline meeting.
The creator is Kandy Kilgore. As demonstrators, we receive a monthly magazine called Stampin' Success. Sandy said she received inspiriation from a similar card in the magazine. Well, I looked through the same mag and didn't see anything as gorgeous as this. Goes to show you how we all are inspired differently.

This next card was received at the same meeting as the 2 previous cards. This particular card was made using our digital software program called My Digital Studio (MDS). If anyone is interested, I can get you a free 30 day trial of the program. Just send me an email. NEWS FLASH, for my team, I have a teacher coming in to teach us MDS!! More details soon.

Now, here is my swap. My card and the digital card above uses a new set called Bright Blossoms, which is coming out in the new upcoming catalog on June 1st. I got this set for FREE, (Don't you love FREE??!!), at the Manager's Reception, when I attended Leadership Conference back in January. SNEAKY PEAKY!!!!

My last card is also my swap, but this was for my down line attending my Can't Stop Stamping team meeting. This uses the Field Flowers stamp set. I sure hope this set is continued in the catalog next year.

Have you ever made a paper bag scrapbook or brag book? No? Perhaps a long time ago? We will construct a Christmas Memory Book, complete with plenty of pockets and tags, using brown paper lunch sacks, Designer Series Print papers, Glimmer paper (gotta have that glitter!!), embossing folders, and bigz dies for the Big Shot.  Bring those Christmas pictures to class and drop them into your memory book as you complete each page.
Here's the details:

Time: 6:30pm. Willing to open a second time slot earlier in the day at 11:00am if requested by enough people.
Cost: $20.

Time for Christmas!

We "crafters" have to start early with all the creating we do to have our cards, projects, and gifts ready in time to give out to those lucky recipients. So without further ado, here is one of my first cards of the season.
This is one of the cards we will be creating in my October Hostess Clubs/Classes.

If you are not a club member, you can still attend as a class member. What's the difference? Well, as a hostess club member, one of the benefits is that you take turns with other club members to earn free goodies from the catalog. As a class member, you attend without making the same commitment that hostess club members are required to make. Class members come and go as they will, but they don't earn the freebies.

If interested or have questions, send me an email or call me to discuss. I would love for you to attend as a class member or join as a club member. My current clubs meet monthly on the:

• 1st Sunday - my studio Highland Park - 4:00pm (time possibly changing to !:00pm)

Class Update

 Thanks for stopping by today.  There's 2 creative opportunities coming your way and I want to make sure you know about them.  Both classes are at Stamping From The Heart in Culver City. Call 310.391.0466 to register.

The 1st is EXTRAVAGANZA.
This is a fantastic event to be held Saturday, June 4. The teachers for this Extravaganza are Richard Bouchereau, Linda Forest, Jessica Hollowell, and me, It will be held from 8:45 to 4:30. Cost is $95.00. With this, you will have

• 4 classes - one from each of the 4 teachers mentioned above
• Goodie bag with stamps for the day included + other goodies
• Breakfast, lunch, and snacks
• Drawings and raffles

There are some fun new projects in the making. Come and have fun with us. So call and make your reservation.

 The 2nd class is Father's Day/Graduation Gift

Thursday, June 9 - Father's/Grad's Day Card & Gift with Richard Bouchereau from 6:30 - 8:30. The Cost is $30.00 and $20.00 for an extra card/gift.
The card and belly band goes around a gift box which includes a Swiss army type multipurpose tool and a pocket utility knife. Something everyone, male or female, can use. Sample is on display at the store. Drop by to check it out and to register.

Flip-out Book

Here is my latest creation.  It is a book with many pages that fold in and flip out. The basic style of the book has been around for many, many years. The book is filled with all of my favorite things -ribbon, lace, dew drops, and luscious paper. Inside the book, there are many places for pictures and /or journaling. Please scroll down to see two more page views.

This sample book has quotes pertaining to "positive thinking and empowerment". There will also be quotes pertaining to "friendship", if you prefer that style better.

I will be teaching this project on Saturday, March 5th, at Stamping from the Heart. Class begins at 10:30 and runs till 3:30, so bring your lunch or snack and plan to stay awhile. Cost for the class is $45. There is also a small supply fee of $2-$3 for a sheet of tags needed to complete the book. If you have an embossing heat gun, please bring it to class. If not, still come, we will share.

Magenta Bird Stencil Class

Hi,

Just popping in for a quick post, letting you know I'm still alive!!! Been very busy with my Customer Appreciation Day, which went very well, and a whole lot of class prep.
