Happenings and Classes

Hi Stampers,

Well, as of today, my house returns to normal.  All of the grandskids and kids have been returned to their respective homes. The last two kids went home today. It was a fun summer, but can I say tiring.... non-stop for the past 6 weeks. At one point we had 6 kids, ranging in age from 4yrs to 15yrs. My whole classroom was a campsite! Loved it all! Now, to focus all my attention and get caught up on my business....

Here are the Creative Opportunities for August.
Trying something out for classes this month - A Day of Creativity, 2 classes in one day. See classes and guidelines below.

All classes held in my studio in Highland Park unless otherwise noted.

Hostess Club/Card Class
You will make 3-4 cards/projects that are easily duplicateable. Great for newbies. Also great to build your stash of ideas to use again and again.

Meeting options:
For August, club dates are the 2nd and 3rd Sundays
1.  1st Sunday meets at my studio in Highland Park at 1:00pm
2.  3rd Sunday meets at The Church On Pearl, 1520 Pearl St (16th), Santa Monica, CA 90405 at 4:00pm

Non club members - $20 class fee or place a $30 product order, then your class is free

Club memberships -
Commit to 6 month membership (# of months is based on # of members. Minimum is 6 month)

Place a $25 product order, class is free

If you can't make it to club, orders are to be emailed to me. Club projects will be given to you in kit form.

One month is your hostess month where you get extra free product of your choice based on membership sales.  Collect outside orders or bring friends that day to boost your sales!

A DAY OF CREATIVITY CLASSES
A DAY OF CREATIVITY GUIDELINES
1. Time frames will be strictly applied
2. Lunch break from 1:00-2:00pm. Bring your own or pick up something from area fast food.
3. Each class is 20.00 or take both for 35.00. Or take classes free by shopping from your wish list. For one class place a $30.00 order or both classes place a $55.00 order. If using your Bonus Days Coupon, increase order amount by 5.00 for each coupon used. For the most benefit, Bonus Days Coupons can be used online for your personal orders.

Birthday Card Class
This months birthday card class will be a part of A DAY OF CREATIVITY, offering TWO different classes in one day.

Birthday cards are what we use the most each month. Each month you will make 6 cards, 3 designs 2 of each. Envelopes are included.

On your first class, you will make a case, using the full size wood mount stamp cases, to store your cards.

Once you've attended 6 classes, they don't have to be in a row, you will get to choose any hostess stamp set as a thank you from me.

COST for all this fun: 20.00 or free with minium purchase.

Saturday, Aug 12th - DEADLINE to register Thursday​, Aug 10th

TIME: 11:00 - 1:00 both days

Note Card Clutch Class
Part two of A DAY OF CREATIVITY - offering TWO different classes in one day.

The Note Card Clutch is a purse style card holder with 4 matching note cards and envelopes. Please bring:
1. Scoring tool or paper trimmer with scoring blade
2. Delightful Daisy Punch, if you have it
3. Decorative Border Punch, if you have it

WHEN: Choice of two class dates to attend:
Wednesday​, Aug 9th - DEADLINE to register Monay, Aug 7th
OR
Saturday, Aug 12th - DEADLINE to register Thursday​, Aug 10th

TIME: 2:00-4:00pm both days

Each class offers CLASS TO GO OPTION:
Can't attend in person??? Class is available in a To Go Kit.
1. If you're not picking up, there will be a $7 delivery charge.
2. Kit includes all of the consumable supplies you need to create the projects.
3. Via email, you'll receive pictures and basic instructions on how to complete each of the projects.
4. Class can be purchased for a flat fee or free with product order option

First, let me apologize for my blog. It's partly broken. I've been trying to get it fixed, but having trouble reaching those who can get it done. I'll figure something out soon. Hang in there with me.

Bonus Days
WOW! Stampin' Up has announced a whole MONTH of Bonus Days! In July 2017, every $50 spent gets you a $5 coupon to use on anything in August! There's no special code to use.

Guest teacher, Margaret Mora, is coming to teach a book making class. These junk journals are 5"x7" and filled with whatever your creative mind wants. It contains 3 signatures of a variety of papers, which you will learn how to make, and take the template home to make more. Pages are filled with pockets, tuck areas, stamping, punching, decorative paperclips and more. 

Cost: 35.00

When: July 30th - DEADLINE to register is Wednesday, July 26th

Time: 1:00 - 5:00pm

Christmas in July Stamp-a-stack 

Start your Christmas crafting season creating 8 cards/projects - 4 designs, 2 each, envelopes included. We'll be using the new set Merry Mistletoe (pg 113) plus a few more of our favorites.   
Bring a friend new to me, both of you receive 5 cards from my stash!

Schedule Change

Hi Stampers,

The Open House scheduled ​for this weekend, June 3rd, is cancelled and will be rescheduled. Somehow, I thought I could prep for the open house and prep to go out of town during the same week! What was I thinking?!

I'm excited for you to come create and have fun with the new catalog items, so I'll reschedule. Thanks for understanding. Sorry if I caused any inconvenience to you.
